At Signature Smiles, we use the latest technology available in the dental industry so that we can provide you with the most precise, efficient and pain-free dental experience as possible. Dr. Cook believes that equipping our team with state of the art dental technology will ensure that our patients’ comfort, health and safety are the highest priority at every visit.

Digital X-rays

Digital X-rays benefit our patients in a variety of ways. They are more comfortable for the patient,  and they use electronic sensors instead of traditional film, which means they’re available for viewing immediatel. Another big plus is that they’ve been shown to emit less radiation than traditional X-rays.

3D Cone Beam Imaging

Our cone beam X-ray rotates around your head to get a high-definition, 3-D view of your mouth, jaw, and neck. Such a comprehensive, detailed look is extremely useful when planning complex treatment like dental implants.

Laser Cavity Detection

The sooner we can spot concerns, the faster we can prevent further damage from occurring and use more conservative treatments. With CariFree, we can detect cavities in their earliest stages (like ones hidden from the naked eye) using its laser technology.

Intraoral Cameras

Observing and understanding what’s going on with your teeth and gums is a crucial part in feeling confident in your dental care and active in your treatment plan. Intraoral cameras allow us to take pictures and video of your mouth and then project them onto a screen for you.

Instead of going back for multiple visits and waiting weeks for your dental crown to be made by an outside lab, our CEREC system lets us do it all from our office, the same day as your appointment. In less than two hours, CEREC turns digital impressions into a virtual design into a custom-fitted restoration with its on-site milling unit.

Dental Lasers

Soft tissue lasers are used to treat things like gum disease with precision, resulting in a more comfortable procedure overall and a speedier recovery time. Hard tissue lasers replace the need for noisy, vibrating dental drills, which is the root of many people’s dental fear and anxiety, and they even eliminate the need for anesthetic.
